Additional instructions and notes:
  • 2 bags of spawn (approx. 14 lbs.) per 1 bag pellets, appears to be sufficient.
  • Poke holes all around the circumference of the poly-tube.  4 rows evenly spaced; holes 4-5 inches apart.
  • Let incubate until you see white, solid growth at the holes, then strip off the plastic and bury the myceliated mass in the ground.
  • Sawdust mulch around the mushrooms helps to keep the undersides clean by eliminating dirt splash-back during rain.
